This is a very large wood, leather & metal vintage storage trunk. You don't find such big ones very often. Measurements are as follows: 42" from left to right, 19-1/2" from front to back and 25" deep. The inside is wood, covered on the outside by a thin sheet of leather and it has brass accents.
There are sturdy leather handles on each end, as it is very heavy, even when it's empty. It would make a great coffee table if you covered it up with a tablecloth to hide the tears on the lid. It could also hold a lot of linens or out-of-season-clothing.
The top has a few tears in it (see photos), which is why the price is so low.
